Elementary 1 Montessori Course

The Elementary I (6-9 years) Course is offered to those interested in becoming a Elementary I Montessori teacher.  Below is information regarding the Elementary I Program, including details about a prerequisite course that you may need to take, academic phase as well as practicum details for your program. 

The Montessori Teacher Education Institute is an Applicant in Good Standing with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education for the Elementary-I Program.

Elementary I Academic Schedule 2019-2020

The first cohort for the Elementary I Montessori Program will begin in June 2019 and will end June 2020. The Academic Phase of the Elementary I Program is approximately 13 months long with a Practicum Phase of nine months which can be completed concurrent to the Academic Phase.
