What Sets Our Montessori Training Apart

  • Many educators come to Montessori because they want teaching to feel purposeful again. Our program helps you reconnect with why you chose this work in the first place—by reshaping how you see children, how you guide learning, and how you create space for independence and discovery. It’s a shift that brings renewed energy, clarity, and joy to your practice.

  • Montessori education looks beyond academics to support every aspect of a child’s development—physical, emotional, social, and cognitive. Throughout the program, you’ll learn how to create environments that honor individuality, nurture confidence, and empower children to grow at their own pace. This approach transforms not just your classroom, but the relationships you build within it.

  • Our faculty are experienced Montessori educators who bring real classroom insight to every lesson. You’ll engage in practical, hands-on learning that mirrors how children learn in Montessori environments. This blend of guidance, modeling, and practice ensures you leave the program with skills you can apply immediately and confidently in your own classroom.

About the Institute

The Montessori Teacher Education Institute of Atlanta was founded to provide AMS Montessori teacher training to adult learners interested in obtaining a credential in either:

MTEI of Atlanta offers educational opportunities throughout the year through our courses as well as workshops which are Bright from the Start approved.

The institute was established to meet the needs of adult learners with busy lives who may work full-time on a year round basis (or who have other commitments during the day). We recognize that this training needs to be both affordable and manageable while still providing a quality educational program.
