Elementary I - II Montessori Course

The Elementary I (6-9 years, 326 hours) Course and the Elementary I-II (6-12 years, 507.5 hours) Course are offered to those interested in becoming a Montessori Elementary teacher for ages 6 to 9 or 9 to 12. Below is information regarding the Elementary I Program and the Elementary I-II Program, including details about a prerequisite course that you may need to take, academic phase as well as practicum details for your program. These Elementary programs are MACTE-accredited accredited and AMS-affiliated. These programs are offered in person at Harbour Oaks Montessori School in Grayson, Georgia.

In June 2023, our Elementary-I and I-II Teacher Education Programs are venturing into a new additional location in Savannah, GA. Coastal Empire Montessori Charter School, located at 301 Buckhalter Road, Savannah, GA 31405, is the only Montessori charter school in Georgia that offers Montessori programs from Pre-Kindergarten through Elementary years. MTEI of Atlanta is honored to be the trusted training institution for the future Montessori educators in this region and continue its goal to grow and be a vital resource for the Montessori community
