About Moonrise:
Moonrise (moonrise.com) is a new education system. With beautiful spaces, real-world experiences, expert guidance, and a built-in community, it's everything you need to raise incredible human beings.
Moonrise Guides are like personal trainers for the mind. They get to know our Risers (kids 5 to 12 years old), guide their learning, and help them work through projects and challenges. The most important role of a Guide is to engage with our Risers and get to know them as unique individuals.
Children at Moonrise engage in a wide range of learning experiences like painting, drawing, gardening, chess, sports, arts and crafts, nature walks, reading, entrepreneurship, academics, and more. We believe our diversity of experiences provides a naturally engaging and fun learning environment. Many homeschoolers join Moonrise to supplement their at-home learning and to socialize with friends. We also welcome children after school.
We're looking for a Lead Guide who:
Has 5+ years of experience in a progressive or alternative education setting
Montessori Certification for Primary Education (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging, hands-on experiences for our children
Co-create new experiences for Moonrise to provide a well-rounded learning experience
Be part of the hiring team for new Moonrise Guide hires
Coach and develop more junior Moonrise Guides
Make sure Risers are safe, cared for, and encouraged to learn and pursue their own interests

About the job:
Location: Decatur, GA (must be local to the area)
Full-time role
Moonrise is open 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation varies based on experience
