Job Description:: Aftercare Teacher (Part-Time, 1:30–5:30 PM)
Location: Srim Academy – Norcross, GA, 5511 Williams Road
Srim Academy, a Montessori-based school is seeking a warm, reliable, and caring Aftercare Teacher to join our team! This is a part-time position (Monday–Friday, 1:30–5:30 PM) with additional substitute teaching opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and engage children (ages 1–6) in a safe, nurturing, and calm environment.
* Lead age-appropriate activities such as art, outdoor play, and quiet reading time.
* Encourage independence and positive social interactions following Montessori principles.
* Maintain an orderly and peaceful classroom atmosphere.
* Communicate effectively with staff and parents.
Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of childcare or preschool experience.
* Passion for working with young children.
* Familiarity with or interest in the Montessori method.
* Dependable, patient, and kind.
* Must meet state childcare background check and health requirements.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM Additional Hours: Available for substitute teaching as needed
Pay: Based on experience
