Roots & Wings Montessori is seeking a warm, dependable Program Assistants to support our Primary and Elementary learning communities for the 2026-2027 school year.
Roots & Wings is a small Montessori microschool community serving children ages 3-12 in Fayetteville, GA. Our environment is calm, relationship-driven, hands-on, and child-centered, with a strong focus on independence, meaningful work, family partnership, and respect for each child’s development.
This role may support both the Primary and Elementary communities throughout the week, including classroom support, transitions, outdoor time, enrichment activities, material preparation, student support, and daily program routines.
We are looking for someone who:
● Has experience working with children
● Is warm, patient, reliable, and grounded
● Values respectful communication and child-centered learning
● Can support children’s independence while maintaining a calm, orderly environment
● Is flexible and willing to support a growing microschool community
● Communicates well with children, families, and team members
● Is open to learning more about Montessori principles and practices
Montessori classroom experience is preferred, but not required. We are open to someone who is deeply aligned with respectful, hands-on, child-centered education and willing to learn.
