Job Description: Early Childhood Guide — Montessori-Inspired Microschool
Acton Buckhead is seeking a warm, confident, and entrepreneurial Early Childhood Guide to lead a small, mixed-age studio of learners ages 4–6 at our school inside the Blue Heron Nature Preserve. While you will be focused on this age of Learners, all of our Guides, and Learners, work across all Studios- we are one community. If going into a room and shutting your door is your ideal- this is not the role for you!
The ideal candidate understands early childhood development and believes children learn best through independence, purposeful work, hands-on exploration, and time in nature. Montessori training or classroom experience is preferred but not required. We are especially interested in someone who has dreamed of starting a microschool or shaping a learning community of their own.
This is more than a traditional teaching position. You will have the opportunity to help develop and grow a distinctive learner-driven program within an established microschool community.
