Job Description::
Located near beautiful downtown Crabapple at the intersection of Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell, Crabapple Montessori School is a warm, supportive community serving children ages 15 months through 6th grade. We take pride in our diverse community of students and staff and foster a joyful, collaborative school environment.
We are seeking a trained Montessori guide to lead and help shape our Montessori Primary Aftercare Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop an aftercare experience that feels like a natural extension of the Montessori school day.
Schedule
This is a flexible part-time position, generally within the hours of 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with core hours from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. We are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that fits their availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support classrooms as needed between 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
- Plan and guide the aftercare program for Primary students
- Create a calm, engaging routine that reflects Montessori principles
- Foster a nurturing, respectful environment for children
This role is intentionally non-academic. We are looking for someone who brings creativity and enthusiasm to the environment, whether through art, nature exploration, cooking, sewing, music, or movement-based activities, etc..
Who You Are
- A trained (or in-training) Montessori guide
- Proactive, organized, and self-directed
- Passionate about working with children
- Creative and eager to share your interests with students
This position is ideal for someone currently training as a Montessori guide or an experienced educator who is looking for a meaningful, flexible role in a joyful setting.
