Now Hiring: A to I Montessori Guide (Toddler Classroom )
Starling Montessori, founded in 2024 in Washington, D.C., is seeking a passionate A to I Montessori Guide to lead our Toddler Classroom. Our classroom has 8-12 students ages 16 months to 3 years old and 3 adults.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape an authentic Montessori program and grow with a developing school. You will work closely with leadership to build the Toddler program and foster a nurturing, child-centered environment.
Candidates currently in Montessori training are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited A to I (0–3) Montessori certification (completed or in progress)
Bachelor’s degree (any field) or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a Montessori setting
Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development
Warm, collaborative, and professional approach with children, families, and colleagues
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to building an inclusive, respectful classroom community
